I love how jello was such a foundational side dish for the older generations. It seems like every potluck gathering I’ve attended has had at least one jello dish of some sort! At my husband’s family parties we are always thrilled when his Grandma brings her Creamsicle Jello Salad.

This cherry dump jello is one that my maternal Grandma has been making for as long as I can remember. We have come to always expect it at family gatherings. Though not exactly healthy, it’s something everyone enjoys. You just can’t go wrong with jello!

My favorite part about this jello is that it is exploding with flavors AND textures. All the different fruits in it add so much excitement to what could just be plain jello. It’s also great for any event in any season. It can totally rock the family Christmas party, all the way to the 4th of July bash!

It’s sweet, crunchy, tangy, and filling – if you enjoy easy recipes you can just throw together, I have a feeling you’ll be making this one over and over.
